Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly set to become Quentin Tarantino’s latest femme fatale.
According to Collider, the Oscar winning actress is in talks about a role in the Pulp Fiction director’s The Hateful Eight -- which will start shooting in early 2015.
The western -- which stalled this year when the first draft of the script was leaked online -- has an ensemble cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, and Tim Roth.
It is still unknown which role Lawrence is being considered for, although the character of Daisy Domergue, aka "The Prisoner" was played by Amber Tamblyn, during a live reading of the leaked screenplay.
However, considering the American’s Hustle star’s A-list status and feisty on-screen persona, there is a distinct possibility that Tarantino may have a role written especially for her.
Here is a synopsis of the first draft of the script -- which will have obviously been changed considerably:
The Hateful Eight follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere.
The movie -- which is Tarantino’s second successive western following Django Unchained (2012) -- will hit screens on December 2015.
