All the our Egg Painting Events are running smoothly with the first one being at the Senior Center in Yorba Linda on Thursday and the bigger one being at the Muzeo in Anaheim on Saturday. While the purpose in doing these events is to provide fun, creative activities.for the poorer and the marginalized children in Orange County and beyond who might not otherwise have the opportunity to take part in these kind of creative experiences we are open to all. We use art to promote community through the social interaction that comes from the shared creative experience. We encourage the involvement of both young and old and all in-between.

This is the fourth year I have done these.

I have received a lot of favorable response. The Miss Anaheim pageant will send volunteers and I have enlisted the support of the Orange County Girl Scout council. The Big Brothers and sisters of Orange county sent out a notice to their members as have a number of community groups and shelters.

Michaels instructor Lakyn will come down and make free balloon animals for the kids for 1 hour. Long Beach instructor Burt Griswold will be painting a giant Easter egg along with some other artists. Hopefully we get a good attendance which will allow me to do other events there.

I will also have egg painting events at  the Senior center in San Clemente on Thursday the 24th at 1:00 and at the Church of Religious science on Saturday the 26th at 3:00.

I will be at the Anaheim's Childrens Festival again this year and at the Arts Alive Festival which is just up the street from the Mission Viejo Michaels.
