Building in Germany Gets Power From Algae

A residential building in Hamburg, Germany is the first structure to get its power from algae within its walls. The 5-story building was entered into The International Building Exhibition by its creators, Spitterwerk Architects, Colt, Strategic Science Consult, and ARUP. It uses photosynthesis to convert lite into heat and energy for the building.
