New Update opens options to use previous versions of Adobe Software

Along with numerous housekeeping items that will speed up Adobe Creative Cloud, the latest update has a feature that many CS6 fans will appreciate… the ability to add and use older versions of the Creative Suite without losing any functions at all.
You can now install older versions of Adobe products straight from Creative Cloud Desktop. These are installed?side-by-side with existing versions. – Creative Cloud vs. 1.6.0.393 Release Notes
In addition to being able to install your favorite Creative Suite versions to Creative Cloud, Adobe also pushed out numerous stability fixes that included:
This is the promise of the monthly subscription service… that updates will happen more frequently and users can take advantage of speed and stability fixes as they come out. And I think Adobe is smart to give users who are reluctant to make the switch to Creative Cloud the ability to “dip their toes in the water,” so to speak, without having to have such a learning curve while they’re trying to bring a project in under time and budget. This way, they can transition far more painlessly.
It is a pity, though, if users can’t add Photoshop and Premiere Elements to the mix, as many who are just starting out are still using the limited, entry-level versions, but would like to make the next step onto the more professional applications. But since these updates are coming out fairly regularly, who knows what’s in store in the next six months to a year. I certainly didn’t expect this little ditty.
Change is a funny thing, and most people are resistant to change, even if that change will help them far better in the long run. But with this latest update, Adobe has gone a long way in soothing those who are ill at ease and get them on the update path which will provide them with fixes and features when they come out, rather than waiting for the next version to hit the stores.
