I saw this scene in Park City, Utah. I was amazed that this tree had taken such a severe beating, had been broken and abandoned but it was still hanging on to life and had been sprouting new branches all around the base close to the ground. The title was a natural. We should all cling to life just as tenaciously as this tree: life is precious, sacred to our Creator and worth living to our very best. Painted with Grumbacher acrylics on 6" x 6" canvas laid down on 1/4" gessoed panel. [Private collection, Houston, TX.] Follow the artist on Instagram: @wkb_art
