I am a mostly self-taught artist and have drawn for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until I took a drawing class when I was 18 at a local community college, that my ability was actually realized. I had an amazing professor who was able to push me and unlock abilities I really didn't think I had. By trade, I do graphic design; however, my passion has always been with portraiture. I really enjoy working with watercolor, acrylic, color pencil and pan pastels. I am obsessed with drawing and painting and when I'm not at my graphic design job, I'm at either at home painting, working on a commission, or teaching painting classes. It's wonderful to be able to be actively involved with creating and sharing art; it's one of things that truly makes me happy.
