Born and raised in Long Island N.Y., after a 17 year career in Advertising, I moved in 2004 to Florida. I have worked various jobs, but my Art always crept into those jobs. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant caring for patients in their homes and in Gulf Coast Hospital for 3-1/2 years. Before I left GMC I created a mural depicting the staff on the 3rd floor Orthopedic unit I worked on. I received an award for that murals creation from the C.O.A. , and the mural in the therapy room, is still being enjoyed by patients to this day. As an Artist, my passion has always been to create realistic, detailed paintings that are tied to my personal experiences and relationships. My goal is to evoke emotional, lasting impressions and to make a connection in doing so with my art audience. My Art pieces are photorealistic creations of life. My technique and utilization of watercolor pencil and acrylic paint in myArt work gives me the freedom and control at the same time, to breathe life into my pieces. Currently my paintings are on exhibit in galleries here in Southwest Florida where I live, and I constantly strive to teach, learn, and perfect my artistic skills.
