Maya has been drawing since the age of four and is now a Grumbacher Fine Art Instructor in Riverhead, NY. She has been exhibiting her work since 2011. She is a member of the Connecticut Portrait Society, the East End Arts Council and the Wet Paints Art Group of Long Island. As a child she took private cartooning lessons with a comic book artist. She went on to hone her skills in color as a makeup-artist for over a decade and now paints portraits, still-life, landscapes and anything that she is inspired to create. www.mayatrimner.com
