The University of Texas at Austin

This school is located in Austin, Texas, and has a great reputation for its different art programs. They have the Department of Art and Art History, a School of Design and Creative Technologies, as well as the Center for Creative Entrepreneurship. The University of Texas at Austin is a larger university, with over 40,000 students currently enrolled. However, they do have an 80% graduation rate, and many of their students find employment prior to graduation day. Ringling College of Art and Design

Ringling College of Art and Design has two Bachelor of Arts programs to offer to their potential students. These include a business of art and design, visual studies, and 11 fine arts degree options. Your options are computer animation, creative writing, entertainment design, film, fine arts, game art, graphic design, illustration, motion design, photography and imaging, and virtual reality development. 

This college is located in Sarasota, Florida, so you can enjoy plenty of sunshine while you follow your dreams. Ringling College hosts a very diverse demographic of students, who are known to come from over fifty different countries. By attending there, you are sure to make interesting classmates and friends. Ringling graduates are said to find employment within six months of graduation. 

School of the Arts Institute of Chicago

This school is unique because it was founded in the year 1866. This makes it one of the oldest accredited schools of art and design in the United States. The School of the Arts Institute of Chicago offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art education, studio, and writing as well as a Bachelor of Arts in art history and visual and critical studies. 

SAIC is a pretty small campus, with only about 3,000 students enrolled at this time. There are some famous alumni, who consist of Cynthia Rowley, Nick Cave, Jeff Koons, LeRoy Neiman, and Georgia O'Keeffe. It is also important to note that the city of Chicago is known for its art scene, and local artists are committed to their community. 

Rhode Island School of Design

This school offers over forty bachelor's and master's degree programs that include interior architecture, graphic design, and jewelry and metalsmithing. RISD has a partnership with Brown University for students who want to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts with RISD and a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science with Brown at the same time. 

A factor to keep in mind about the Rhode Island School of Design is they remain a test-optional campus. This means that SAT and ACT results are not required for admission. This school also ranks very highly in the amount of diversity they have. Around 37% of their students are international. RISD makes career readiness a priority, and they host a fine arts portfolio review giving their students an opportunity to show off their work.
