Little Tweaks That Will Make Passengers Love Riding in Your Car

Everyone likes the feeling of comfort and that includes the passengers that ride in your vehicle. To give your passengers a great experience you don't have to go out and buy a new luxury sedan. There are plenty of ways that you can morph your car into a vehicle that offers passengers a pleasant ride

Provide Entertainment

Of course, your vehicle came equipped with a radio and probably a CD player, but in today's digital world you can offer a lot more.

Apps and streaming services are quickly replacing regular radio because of the diversity of their offerings and the convenience of being able to listen to what you want whenever you want. Make sure you have access to apps like Tune In that will concentrate a vast collection of news, entertainment, music and more and put it at your fingertips. You can program in great stations like La Mega so that your passengers can groove to some great salsa while you move on down the road.

In-car entertainment systems and headrest monitors can give your passengers access to a whole world of entertainment from physical DVDs to the best of streaming services. It may cost a fortune to buy a vehicle that has an entertainment system pre-installed, but you can DIY one for a lot less. Even a low-end monitor can offer a lot of value.

Keep Things Clean and Organized

Nothing makes a car feel more rundown than being dirty on the inside. It also makes potential passengers second guess their decision to ride with you.

First things first; give your car a thorough cleaning. Spray down the mats, use simple interior wipes to clean the dash, door rests and seats if they're vinyl or leather. Enzymatic cleaners can work wonders on carpets and fabric seats without overwhelming you with the scent of chemicals. A little white vinegar will get all those smudges and fingerprints off of your inner windows. Once everything is sparkling you can take the next steps.

Hit Amazon and pick up a great looking car garbage container so that all that trash you just cleaned out doesn't magically reappear. These come in all sizes and a variety of fabrics. Most are waterproof and either live attached to your center console or one of your seatbacks. Speaking of seatbacks, get at least one organizer pocket to hang on the back of one of the seats. You can keep some entertaining magazines in there and maybe a sudoku book or two. It will also give riders a convenient place to put their stuff so they don't have to hold it all in their lap.

Last, make sure your car smells as clean as it looks. Skip the hanging Christmas Tree deodorizers and opt for an in-car essential oil diffuser. You can go basic or fancy with these, but they'll give you the option of a ton of scents that are so much more pleasant than a chemical spray.

Add a Little Luxury

Ok, so nothing here is a necessity, but this is some really cool stuff that will make your passengers feel like they're experiencing a limo ride. Go extravagant with some massaging seat covers. If you really want to add some awesomeness, get the ones that also heat up. The higher-end mats will also add lumbar and neck support.

How about adding some snack options for your guests? Small coolers or even tiny fridges made for cars are easy to find and give you the ability to provide passengers with a cool drink of whatever you might want to offer. And now, you can even get an in-car microwave for all your snacking needs. What's really cool is that none of these things will cost you a lot of money.

If you're looking to offer the best passenger experience, start with cleaning and some entertainment. If you want to go a bit further, have fun picking out some over-the-top luxuries that will make all your friends envious of your ride. Careful though, you might find yourself being the designated driver way more than you wanted.
