Losing His Grip

This is my first abstract painting- it took shape after many, many paint sketches. I was looking to do a non-objective painting and really struggling. But I had an emotion and a feeling I was trying going for and it burst forth in this form and I have loved it ever since. This is acrylic with Heavy Gel medium on wood, about 22 by 22 inches.
